Deliverable D1.2 reviews and synthesizes key literature on Social Innovation, Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), and stakeholder engagement, with a specific focus on EU security research. It explores models, tools, and methodologies that enhance citizen and end-user participation, highlighting the potential of socially responsible approaches to reshape innovation processes. The findings support E2i’s mission to promote inclusive, impact-driven research aligned with societal needs and security challenges.
